This group is currently active. Group meets monthly via tele-health. Time & day of week vary based on needs of the group. Dr. Charette facilitates a group for women who have lost their mother and are experiencing feelings of grief related to the passing of their parent(s). This group is a safe and confidential place for women who want to connect with other women who are experiencing similar feelings of grief. An additional focus of this group will be on supporting women who are navigating through life milestones (dating, marriage, pregnancy, birth, parenting), without the presence and support of their own mother. Required pre-screening appointment with Dr. Charette.
Support Group for Women Who Have Lost Their Mom
Retreat for Women Who Have Lost Their Mom
Dr. Charette hosts a bi-annual "mini-retreat" for women who have lost their mother and want to connect in-person, through an extended group therapy session. The retreat is approximately a half-day and involves an informal meet & greet, group therapy and a guided mindfulness exercise at the conclusion. This is a transformative morning to connect with other women, in person who want to dive deeper into processing their grief and share resilience strategies. This retreat is open to women who have completed the pre-screening appointment with Dr. Charette.
Pregnancy, Postpartum & Parenting Support Group
This group is currently active. Group meets monthly via tele-health. Time & day of week vary based on needs of the group. Dr. Charette facilitates a support group for women who want to connect with other women who are adjusting to pregnancy & motherhood. This group is for women at any point in their pregnancy, post-birth or during the early parenting years. This group is open to all Moms (not only 1st time Moms). Many women join this group during their pregnancy & continue during their postpartum adjustment & beyond. Required pre-screening appointment with Dr. Charette.
